A driver was slightly injured in a collision near the A66 near Steinau/Straße. The driveway towards Fulda was closed for two hours.
Steinau an der Straße – Update from June 3rd, 10:37 a.m.: As the police now report, the driver of an Audi Q7 was slightly injured in the accident. She was driving her vehicle on the state road when she collided with an oncoming minibus that wanted to turn left onto the A66 towards Fulda.
Audi driver injured in accident near A66 – road clear again
According to police, the Ford Transit served as a school bus and was occupied by five children and young people and a driver. According to initial information, everyone remained uninjured. While the accident was being recorded and the clean-up work was being carried out – both vehicles had to be towed away – the L3195 and the A66 slip road were closed for around two hours. Both streets are now clear again.
The police cannot yet provide any information about the amount of property damage. Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the Schlüchtern police station on (06661) 96100.
First report from June 3rd, 8:42 a.m.: According to initial information from the police, a car and a minibus collided on the L3195 near Steinau an der Straße around 8 a.m. There is no information yet as to whether anyone was injured.
Country road near A66 driveway near Steinau closed after accident
The state road in the area of the A66 entrance towards Fulda is currently completely closed due to rescue measures. Road users are asked to avoid the area as far as possible.
