18-year-old Fabian Z. has been in custody since the end of December. From June 16th he will have to answer before the Hamburg district court.
Private
He is said to have destroyed their lives from his childhood bedroom.
Now 18-year-old Fabian Z. is in custody in Hamburg and is awaiting trial. He is said to have forced young girls to take intimate pictures in front of the camera through perfidious manipulation, threats and blackmail. From June 16th he will have to answer before the regional court.
Children's room as a crime scene
Fabian Z. is said to have planned his alleged actions behind the curtains of an inconspicuous residential building in Hamburg-Finkenwerder. But the actual crime scene is said to be on the Internet. He is said to have specifically sought contact with particularly vulnerable girls between the ages of twelve and 15 via chat platforms.

Mia Sperling-Karstens from the Hamburg public prosecutor's office describes the alleged procedure drastically. The 18-year-old is said to have made the victims emotionally dependent “and then sometimes forced them to carry out increasingly serious behavior on themselves through previously obtained personal information or naked pictures.” According to the indictment, Fabian Z. is said to have persuaded a victim to carve his name and the names of groups he founded into his skin. He is said to have tried similar things with other girls.
Parallels to “White Tiger” – investigators see network structures
The investigators are drawing connections to another explosive case from Hamburg, in which a perpetrator deliberately made his victims dependent and controlled. The case of a man who went by the pseudonym “White Tiger” and is said to have been part of the sadistic network “764”. He is also currently on trial in camera. The public prosecutor's office does not see any connections to Fabian Z. But according to RTL research, he also controlled his victims, sometimes for weeks, and even developed a perverse, supposedly “intimate Internet relationship” with girls from the USA in order to make them completely psychologically submissive. His group is said to call itself the “Com Network”.

Neighbors shocked – “We hardly knew him”
There is disbelief in Finkenwerder. Many neighbors say they hardly knew anything about the young man, let alone about his abysses. And his friends also saw him as a completely ordinary teenager. “He was out and about with us a lot. Sometimes he called us out, sometimes we called him out, then we were outside. So he wasn't on the computer much, if you look at it that way. Maybe at night,” a 16-year-old tells RTL.

But in the conversation they also admit to having a scary gut feeling because Fabian Z. repeatedly made sexualized comments about young girls. 21-year-old Maja Nikic is deeply shocked: “I'm pregnant right now, I'm going to be a mother now. And it's bad for me when I think now that he lives two houses further than we lived,” she says. RTL's attempt to speak to the defendant's mother in the apartment building was immediately blocked at the door.
Also violence against men
The charges go beyond the alleged online crimes. Fabian Z. is also said to have physically attacked men. In eleven cases he is said to have arranged dates with homosexual men and then attacked them, including with pepper spray.

Lawyer Yussof Sarwari represents Fabian Z. His client has not yet commented on the allegations and is exercising his right to remain silent.
