The marketing of 60 building plots with different development options is now starting in the new development area “Molzbacher Höhe” in Hünfeld.
Hünfeld – The “Molzbacher Höhe” area in Hünfeld connects to the Rhönmalerring and is currently being developed, as the city of Hünfeld reports. In the first marketing phase, land is offered for terraced houses, semi-detached houses, single-family houses, rental apartments and areas for commercial use in a mixed area. According to the city, the land is allocated based on the city's procurement guidelines.
Interested parties can contact the Hünfeld city building authority in writing by Monday, June 8, 2026. The contact person is Ulrike Krimmel (email: ulrike.krimmel@huenfeld.de). The expression of interest must include your name and address. It is also mandatory to state which property category the application is for: “a) house for personal use, b) semi-detached house for personal use, c) house for rental housing, d) terraced house development or e) mixed area use”. The plots of land for terraced house development are only allocated contiguously.

In the first marketing phase, the purchase price is 149 euros per square meter. According to the city, this already includes the development costs and wastewater contributions. For properties that are located in mixed areas and therefore allow commercial use, the price per square meter is 150.35 euros.

Applicants who have registered with the city by June 8th will receive a site plan by post or email after the deadline with identification of the available properties, an application form and other documents for the award, as the city of Hünfeld announced.
