Eiterfeld has signed a new lease agreement for the community center catering facility. Behind “Heimat | 50°” there is a concept with cuisine and event management. Modernizations are planned before launch.
Eiterfeld – With the guiding principle “from the home for the home,” the market town of Eiterfeld has concluded a new lease agreement for the community center’s gastronomy with the newly founded “Heimat | 50° UG”. The previous tenant gave notice at the beginning of the year.
In the future, there will be no direct connection to a catering offer for events in the community center. Organizers can decide on the gastronomic accompaniment of their event, emphasizes the market town in a press release.
The new tenant for the Eiterfeld community center will start in late summer
It starts in late summer. The aim is to re-establish the community center as a lively center for gastronomy, community, clubs and culture in the market town, according to the letter.
The new concept combines modern German cuisine with professional event management and consciously focuses on regionality, quality and close ties to the community. The slogan “from the homeland for the homeland” is symbolic of the philosophy of the project: an offer from the region, for the people of the region.
Mayor Dana Hauke emphasizes: “The community center should once again become a reliable meeting place for all generations, so that people can come together, celebrate, enjoy and experience community. I am very much looking forward to this new time.”
In the future, the catering industry will be open four days a week and, in addition to the classic restaurant operations, will specifically accompany club evenings, family dinners and events.
In addition to the restaurant, Heimat | 50° can be booked for the catering and organization of the adjacent community center. However, there is no permanent bond.
“Whether weddings, anniversaries, club meetings, workshops or cultural events – our community center should re-establish itself as the community’s central event location,” said Hauke. “We want to position ourselves as regionally but flexibly as possible.”
The operating company Heimat | is the central contact and recommended partner for the gastronomic support of events 50° UG available. Of course, there is still the option to freely choose individual modules and services. “We are also pleased that we were able to find a new caretaker for our community center in Ingo Volkemer,” added the CDU town hall leader.
Regional team on site
The two Eiterfeld entrepreneurs Maximilian Hodes and Florian Roth are behind the concept of the Heimat-Gesellschaft. Both have developed a regional concept with an advisory partner from the Fulda gastronomy scene. “We want to strengthen our homeland with this regional concept and thereby give something back to it,” say the shareholders. Both will place the operational organization in the hands of an operations manager and a regional team.
Before the restart in late summer, various modernization measures are planned to further improve the quality of stay and functionality of the catering industry. The digital presence is to be expanded – with social media communication, an active event calendar as well as reservation and contact options.
Hauke emphasizes that the aim of the new operating concept is to sustainably strengthen the town center, maintain purchasing power in the region and make the community center a central meeting point again.
