
Two men try to steal perfume on a large scale in downtown Fulda. Thanks to a witness, someone is caught. The other suspect is still on the run.
Fulda – On Tuesday afternoon (March 3rd) around 4:30 p.m., according to the East Hesse police headquarters, a 28-year-old and a previously unknown man tried to steal a total of 35 perfume items from a drugstore on Bahnhofstrasse in Fulda.
“A currently unknown attentive witness observed the crime and informed an employee of the branch. She identified the two perpetrators,” reported police spokesman Jonas Trabert. “The two men then fled.”

Shortly afterwards, a police patrol arrested a 28-year-old near the crime scene. After the police measures were completed, he was released again. The second perpetrator has not yet been identified.
He is described by the officers as follows: male, between 20 and 35 years old, with an Eastern European appearance and a height of around 1.75 to 1.80 meters. The man was wearing a gray “Tommy Hilfiger” jogging suit, a black baseball cap and black sneakers with white soles.
The police are speaking of this case as an attempted serious case of theft. According to the Criminal Code, this is, among other things, theft for commercial purposes.
The officers ask possible witnesses who can provide relevant information about the incident to contact the East Hesse police headquarters in Fulda on (0661) 1050 or another police station.
A few days before Meanwhile, an unknown man in the vehicle registration office in Fulda threatened an employee with a knife. The police are looking for clues about the perpetrator, who is described as relatively small.
