Großenlüder – At around 1:30 p.m., the fire department was called to a residential building on Am Reitplatz street in the Großenlüder district of Bimbach. An electrical appliance in the living room had probably caught fire. The house was heavily smoked.

The Großenlüder fire department reported to reporters on site that two people were slightly injured, but they did not need to be taken to hospital.
The Bimbach and Großenlüder fire departments as well as the rescue service were deployed with almost 40 personnel. The turntable ladder was also requested from Fulda. The fire water supply was a particular challenge. The fire department had to tap into hydrants from the industrial area. The location is on the outskirts of Bimbach.
