Steinau an der Straße – A hit-and-run traffic accident occurred in Steinau on Friday afternoon (May 29th), the police said. An elderly driver is said to have hit a 39-year-old man and then continued driving. The incident happened around 12 p.m. on Brüder-Grimm-Straße in the area of house numbers 40. According to previous findings, the woman drove her vehicle down the street and collided with the pedestrian who was standing on the side of the road. The 39-year-old was slightly injured in the accident.

However, the driver did not stop to look after the injured man or leave her personal details. Instead, she continued her journey. The police are now investigating the suspicion of a traffic accident.
The woman we are looking for has the following description: She is said to be around 80 years old, has gray, medium-length hair and was wearing a beige top at the time of the accident.
