The Audi driver's view was restricted by a vehicle in front. When he turned, he apparently failed to notice a 27-year-old cyclist Hünfeld. He was riding his gravel bike on the left-hand sidewalk on Leipziger Straße, which is open to cyclists, but in the opposite direction.
