What happened in the apartment in Berlin-Marzahn?
Alena (14) wanted to take the dog out again late on Monday evening (May 11th). But there was suddenly a commotion in front of one of the houses in the neighborhood. Just a few hours later, a woman suddenly falls from one of the balconies there – apparently after being the victim of a gang rape. The young witness remembers what she observed in the RTL interview.
The woman ran into the house crying, the witness remembers
Alena reports that she saw a woman and two men in front of the house in Marzahn. The woman screamed. One of the men then suddenly slapped the woman, who then began to cry. The two men went into the house, the woman parked her car and then followed them.

“I would definitely recognize the man,” Alena is certain. He had blonde hair and light eyes and was about 1.80 meters tall and slim. “The other man had black hair.” He was a bit fatter and shorter – “maybe around 170,” the young person estimates. She had the impression that the blonde man and the woman knew each other.
The crime is said to have taken place behind this door in Berlin.

Alena immediately goes to get her father, but there is no one to be seen on the street
“I was afraid for the woman,” remembers the 14-year-old. And her dog also started growling. So she immediately ran home and alerted her father. But when her dad Serdar checks on the street shortly afterwards, everything is calm again. The woman and men apparently disappeared into one of the apartments.
What happens next is not yet entirely clear. The investigation into the crime is still ongoing. A fire department spokesman said the woman was then taken to hospital on Tuesday with serious injuries. The police are investigating possible rape. “It is being investigated on suspicion of a sexual offense,” said a spokeswoman.

The newspapers BZ and Bild reported that a young woman was allegedly raped by several men in an apartment on Tuesday night and was seriously injured while trying to escape from the first floor. The police do not want to say how the woman is doing now. According to RTL information, she is said to be in the hospital but can be contacted. She apparently fell from the balcony while trying to escape.
Neighbors notice loud music, parties, alcohol
As RTL learns from residents, there are said to have been regular parties in the murder apartment. Several men often sat on the balcony and drank alcohol. There are still several cases of beer there on Friday (May 15th). Allegedly, the man who rented the apartment sublet it to several foreign workers.
Alena's father reports that he and his family have not lived in the neighborhood for long

Serdar and his family say that they have not lived in the neighborhood for long. They only moved here from Neukölln in the winter and don't know many neighbors yet. “We don’t even know what’s going on,” says the father. “Terrible…Berlin!” he adds. (with dpa)
