The starting signal for this year's season will be given on Whit Sunday (May 24th) at 4 p.m. The Geisa town band opens the musical program.

From Whitsunday onwards, Hünfelder Bürgerpark will once again become a concert stage

The park will be transformed into a meeting place for music enthusiasts and families for a total of five Sundays until September 13th. Whether on the seating provided or comfortably on your own picnic blanket – visitors can treat themselves to a break from everyday life with free entry.

The musicians performing present modern and traditional arrangements in a wide variety of styles. You are welcome to clap and sway along, the city emphasizes in a press release. Old friends from the “Music in the Park” series can be heard on Sunday, July 5th, with the Nüsttal band.

The brass choir Tonica, a regular guest at Bürgerpark for many years, will perform on July 26th. The Hünfeld town band and the Dammersbach brass band will share the stage on August 23rd. The Dipperz-Rhön music association will be organizing the end of the season on September 13th. All concerts start at 4 p.m.

Mayor Benjamin Tschesnok (CDU) was pleased about the restart of the traditional event: “It's nice to see how many loyal visitors have been following this entertainment offer in the city of Hünfeld for years, and how new guests regularly come in to discover and enjoy the special atmosphere of our community park.”
