
The popular “Music in the Park” series begins on Whitsunday in Hünfeld. Five concerts with free admission await visitors.
Hünfeld – Musical moments in the middle of the countryside can soon be experienced again at the Wella Pavilion in the Hünfeld Citizens Park: The city of Hünfeld’s “Music in the Park” series is starting a new round. The starting signal for this year's season will be given on Whit Sunday (May 24th) at 4 p.m. The Geisa town band opens the musical program.
From Whitsunday onwards, Hünfelder Bürgerpark will once again become a concert stage
The park will be transformed into a meeting place for music enthusiasts and families for a total of five Sundays until September 13th. Whether on the seating provided or comfortably on your own picnic blanket – visitors can treat themselves to a break from everyday life with free entry.
The musicians performing present modern and traditional arrangements in a wide variety of styles. You are welcome to clap and sway along, the city emphasizes in a press release. Old friends from the “Music in the Park” series can be heard on Sunday, July 5th, with the Nüsttal band.
The brass choir Tonica, a regular guest at Bürgerpark for many years, will perform on July 26th. The Hünfeld town band and the Dammersbach brass band will share the stage on August 23rd. The Dipperz-Rhön music association will be organizing the end of the season on September 13th. All concerts start at 4 p.m.
