The incident happened just before 11 p.m. According to previous findings from the police in Hesse, the young man and a previously unknown person got into an argument. During the argument, the perpetrator suddenly pulled out a pepper gun and fired at his opponent's face.
The 19-year-old suffered minor injuries and required initial medical treatment. The attacker then fled the scene. The police describe him as around 20 years old and around 1.90 meters tall. He had short, dark hair as well as a goatee and mustache and wore glasses.
He was dressed entirely in black and had a gray cap with green applications on his head. Witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrator or the course of the crime are asked to contact the Langenselbold police station on (06183) 911550.
