Red flag, no-go or completely fine?!At 35, Bachelor Tim still lives in a shared apartment – for some women this is a real problem
Bachelor Tim surprised the ladies with this answer.
When we first met, the 35-year-old said openly that he still lives in a shared apartment with his best friend. While some candidates see the situation calmly, others immediately raise alarm bells. Joeleen in particular finds it difficult to imagine living with a roommate – and immediately paints the complete cliché of a male shared apartment, as you can see in the video above.

On the Night of the Roses, Tim wants to talk to Joeleen right at the beginning. The conversation actually starts quite harmlessly. When Tim explains that he needed a fresh start after breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, he openly talks about his unusual living model. He quickly moved into a shared apartment with his best friend and has now lived there for three years. This comes as a surprise to candidate Joeleen. Your mental cinema starts immediately: “My typical image of a men's shared apartment is a three-room apartment, a maximum of 50 square meters, everything is in chaos, dishes, pizza boxes and flies everywhere.” She especially doesn't seem to like the idea of sitting in the kitchen with Tim and his roommate later.
THIS is what Tim says about his current living situation
This fact creates a lot of conversation between the women. However, Tim himself takes the discussion with humor. “Apparently it was hotly discussed in the villa that at 35, as managing director, I still live in a shared apartment,” he says in the interview.

But not everyone finds the fact off-putting. Contestant Amy would do the same: “Why be alone when my best friend is single too?! I can understand that.” Joeleen, however, remains skeptical. At least Tim tries to reassure him straight away: “No, I don’t want to live with my best friend all my life.” Does his living situation really put women off in the end? For some it seems clear: they would have to take a look at the shared apartment for themselves before making a final judgment.
