Ingo Peters became known in 2013 through the RTL program “Daughter-in-Law Wanted”, but now he has changed significantly: The 35-year-old has now lost a lot of kilos after his stomach operation – but he is not exempt from setbacks on the scales.

The “Looking for a daughter-in-law” star Ingo tells his fans honestly in an Instagram story: “I’m actually feeling quite well at the moment after the stomach operation.” He says his weight is currently around 125 or 126 kilograms. “I’ve lost about 65 kilos now – that’s for sure.”

But the success of the diet is currently stalling a bit! “I've gained a bit, a kilo or two, but that's completely normal,” explains Ingo. The “daughter-in-law wanted” star is “still” around 125 kilograms – like almost a year ago, when he proudly announced it in February 2025.
And how are the pounds supposed to continue to fall? With sport! “I'll also make sure that I go to the gym again next month and do a little something again. Of course I'll sign up again. And I have one right around the corner and then that should actually be fine.”
“I feel so great with just a few kilos”
Ingo has already had a long weight loss journey: Instead of 181 kilos, like just two years ago, it now weighs significantly less. Since July 2024, he has been helped by a so-called gastric sleeve, which he had inserted during a stomach operation. Ingo had prepared very carefully for the procedure – He even made his will just in case.

Ingo was already enthusiastic about the result in an earlier RTL interview: “The reactions are really crazy.
