
During the Hessentag week, RhönEnergie is organizing a swimming badge day in Rosenbad with the DLRG. Children and adults can participate free of charge.
Fulda – RhönEnergie says it is committed to ensuring that as many children as possible learn the skill of swimming. “Being able to swim is not a given these days – it is a skill that, when in doubt, saves lives,” emphasizes Martin Heun, spokesman for the management of the RhönEnergie Group.
Swimming badge day in Hessentag week in the Rosenbad Fulda
In order to support this goal, the RhönEnergie pool companies are organizing in collaboration with the DLRG during the Hesse day on Friday (June 19th) a swimming badge day at the Rosenbad in Fulda. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. both children and adults can take part in the outdoor pool free of charge.
According to the information, the seahorse and the German swimming badges in bronze, silver and gold will be taken on this day in Rosenbad. “With the swimming badge day, together with the DLRG, we want to make a concrete contribution to ensuring that more people in our region are safe in the water.”
Diana Stolz (CDU), the Hessian Minister for Family, Senior Citizens, Sport and Integration, will attend the swimming badge day between 2.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. to honor the commitment to swimming training. It is not necessary to register in advance for the swimming badge day in Rosenbad.
Meanwhile Lion recently became the first child to manage the seahorse in the DLRG Schlüchtern local group's inclusion course. His story is an impressive example of willpower. The performance he achieved in the swimming course is very remarkable. The boy now wants to collect the next badges.
