Due to extensive personal checks, the organizer asks all concert goers to come to the cathedral early. Since handbags are also checked, visitors should only bring the bare essentials with them or avoid bags altogether. Bags and backpacks larger than DIN A4 are not allowed on the premises.
Food and drinks are also prohibited – even in small PET bottles. There is a free drinking water station available on site. According to the organizer, drugs and cannabis, weapons and weapon-like objects such as knives or pepper sprays, highly flammable and flammable objects, any kind of fireworks or pyrotechnics, bulky objects such as chairs and stools, photo and digital cameras, video and sound recording devices, notebooks, tablets, telescopic rods such as selfie sticks, drones and other flying objects are also prohibited.
Laser pointers and other disruptive devices, bicycle or motorcycle helmets, stick umbrellas, extremist or offensive flags and posters, roller blades, skateboards, roller skates, bicycles and animals are also prohibited. However, smaller folding umbrellas (“tots”) are permitted. According to the organizer, the following generally applies: All objects that pose a danger to visitors, artists or employees or that could cause a risk of accidents are not permitted on the site.
Food is provided on the event site by catering partners. As Provinztour also reports, this year all partners are relying exclusively on a cashless payment system. Card payments and mobile payment options are accepted; Cash cannot be used at the stands.
Limited parking in the city center
Since the concert is part of the… Hesse day If the event takes place in 2026, visitors will have to expect significantly more road closures and fewer parking options in the city center than at Domplatz concerts in previous years. Disabled parking spaces and bicycle parking spaces – some in the city center – are also marked on the plans.
