Prosecutor: Argument with father should be ended
The charges will be read out in the Rostock regional court on Tuesday. For the first time, the public prosecutor's office names a possible motive as to why Gina H. is said to have killed Fabian. According to this, she wanted to end the dispute with Fabian's father Matthias. She is also said to have hoped to be able to continue the relationship with him.
According to the public prosecutor's office, Gina H. had a relationship with Fabian's father for around four years until August 2025. But the relationship broke down. The trigger is said to have been massive tensions. Fabian is said to have previously witnessed a physical altercation between his father and Gina H. The father later ended the relationship out of fear that his son would break off contact with him. As is known from the courtroom, he is said to have told Gina H. via chat message on October 9, 2025.
