Shortly after 4 p.m., the emergency services were informed of a fire in a barn on Fasaneriestrasse and responded immediately. In addition to a workshop, the building also housed several vehicles. The fire department needed at least two hours to extinguish the fire, police said.
The three injured HessenForst employees received medical care on site from the emergency services. Since it was only minor smoke poisoning, all three were released after treatment. Transport to a hospital was not necessary.
The cause of the fire is currently unclear and is the subject of police investigations. However, according to the current status, the officials do not assume a crime has been committed.
