
Students and people with disabilities compete in the Fulda Cup for Hessentag. The tournament on June 15th celebrates fair play. There will be a preparatory training on April 30th.
Fulda – Zum Hesse day The “Fulda Cup” takes place – the football tournament for Fulda schools and people with disabilities. The organizer of the tournament is the association Everyone is different – Inclusion Sport Fulda, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
Eleven schools have already registered for the tournament for goals and the fair play cup. More are being discussed. In May 2025, around 180 students took part in the 13th Fulda Cupthe inclusive football tournament by Antonius and partners.
Fulda Cup 2026: Inclusive football tournament celebrates 20 years
In 2026, the Hessentag tournament will take place on June 15th (Monday) from 9.30 a.m. in the Fulda Stadium, informed Antonius: leben leben gGmbH. The inclusive teams made up of students and athletes from Antonius play for tournament victory in two age groups (grades 5 to 7 and 8 to 10).
The focus is on the Fair Play Cup, which comes with a special prize. This year there will be interlude games for the first time – including teams from Fulda University and Antonius. Two weeks before the tournament, on Thursday (April 30th), there will be preparatory training for the Fulda Cup.
It will take place on this day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the artificial turf pitch of the city of Fulda stadium. The SG Barockstadt supports the training. At around 11:15 a.m., a press photo with all teams and supervisors as well as the welcome from the tournament organizer association and SG Barockstadt is planned.
Afterwards there are exercises at various stations and free play. On March 19th, the RhönSprudel Mini World Championships experienced an atmospheric final day in the Flieden district sports hall. One game in particular was tough. Ultimately, Team USA became world champions at the RhönSprudel Mini World Championships.
