A BMW driver crashed into the guardrail on the A7 near Hünfeld. The 36-year-old was taken to hospital and the property damage is estimated at 60,000 euros.
Hünfeld – A traffic accident occurred on the A7 on Sunday (April 19th). A 36-year-old BMW driver left the road for unknown reasons, the police said.
BMW crashes into guardrail on A7: 60,000 euros in damage
The man was coming from Fulda on the A7 in the direction of Hünfeld/Schlitz when he veered off the road to the right. His vehicle collided with the guardrail and finally came to a stop on the hard shoulder.
The 36-year-old was taken to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The Petersberg police motorway station estimates the material damage caused at around 60,000 euros.
A fatal traffic accident recently occurred on the A4: A 39-year-old was thrown from the cab of a truck and died at the scene of the accident.
