A 91-year-old from Fulda has fallen victim to tricksters. Two unknown people distracted the woman at her front door and stole her cash.
Fulda – The two unknown people – including a woman – engaged the senior citizen, who according to the police lives in the Fulda city area, in a conversation after they rang her doorbell. One of the two distracted the 91-year-old, while the other searched the apartment for valuables.

The senior citizen later noticed that cash had apparently been stolen from her – the police did not provide any information about the amount of the loot. However, the 91-year-old can describe a perpetrator. She was around 40 years old, had blonde hair and a strong build. She spoke broken German and wore a short, black jacket.
The East Hesse police headquarters is asking for information from witnesses by calling (0661) 1050 or via the online watchdog. At the same time The officials are once again raising awareness about not letting strangers into your own home – no matter what pretext they use to demand entry.
The fraudsters are often talented actors and pose as craftsmen, employees of gas or water works or property management. Once they have convinced their victims, they then search their homes and sometimes steal large sums of money.
