17,000 visitors enlivened the city center at fulda.mobil.erleben
Thanks to wheels of fortune, popcorn machines and hands-on activities, such as the AOK Hanging Challenge, there was almost a folk festival atmosphere at fulda.mobil.erleben. Children really got their money’s worth at the Schlaufuchs stand’s bouncy castle.
On Universitätsplatz, Jesuitenplatz and Borgiaplatz, the car dealerships Kunzmann, Krah+Enders, Nix, Sorg, Drive Fulda, Scheller, the Audi Center Fulda Atzert & Weber and Scheelen Elektromobile showed the latest models of their brands. Across all brands, visitors to the outdoor trade fair were particularly interested in electric cars. .
A trend that Manuel Jahn, sales manager at the Kunzmann car dealership, is also observing. “Interested parties are asking more and more about electric cars and hybrid models.” Dennis Schwarz from Tesla Germany, who exhibited two vehicles in front of the parish church, also confirms this. One The reason is probably the increased gasoline prices.
Owners of an Audi X ATB probably rarely worry about gasoline prices. However, they are guaranteed attention. The sports car exhibited in the museum courtyard of the Deisenroth car dealership attracted numerous onlookers. Some lucky people were even allowed to sit behind the steering wheel. Nostalgics were more likely to enjoy the VW T1 Westfalia camper from 1966. Many other vehicles decorated the museum courtyard and vied for the visitors' attention.
Lively shop windows put a smile on people's faces
A crowd of people kept forming in front of the Atzert & Weber stand. The reason for this: the Formula 1® racing simulator built there. It wasn't just the occupants who experienced mobility first hand. The audience could also enjoy the excitement on a screen.
While mostly younger people got into the simulator, the outdoor fair and the surrounding shops in Fulda's city center attracted a wide range of visitors: from young families to car lovers to strollers – from toddlers to senior citizens. According to the organizers, around 10,000 visitors came to the trade fair on the spring Saturday. After a wet start on Sunday, around 7,000 visitors showed up.
Regardless of the weather, models from the Alt fashion school presented the new products from the Luna store and the Crea-Time boutique on Fulda's Friedrichstrasse. And not on the catwalk, but directly in the shop windows – in front of the eyes of passers-by. A total of six models staged the latest fashion there. A fleeting glance didn't turn into more intense looks – and finally a laugh as soon as the supposed “mannequins” suddenly moved.
The 19-year-old Xenia Balzer was there last year. “It's a lot of fun. We can visibly brighten up passers-by's day because we put a smile on their faces with our movements and presentations.” After the rain had stopped and the sun had even appeared sporadically, many couples, families and groups crowded Fulda's streets to find inspiration on the Sunday shopping – be it by shopping for spices, fashion or accessories.
Stella Höhne, assistant to the management of the Scheller car dealership, was enthusiastic about the two days of the trade fair. “We are very pleased with the interest shown and numerous discussions have been held about the cars.” Finally, she emphasizes again: “It is the event of the year that we as a car dealership look forward to every year.”
