Liesching reported, for example, that the move to the renovated former tax office building is expected to take place this year. This would allow the existing court buildings in need of renovation to be renovated. He also expressed the hope that… the registry court will be located in East Hesse in the future.
For the first time, the court is currently at 100 percent capacity, after the load was previously higher. In terms of personnel, the regional court is well positioned with 20 judges and around 40 additional judges at the three affiliated district courts. Liesching reported good working conditions and high employee satisfaction.
The spring trip began with a visit to the Hünfeld correctional facility. The detention facility, which opened in 2006, is one of the most recent new prison buildings.
The district president hopes that the trip will give new impetus to current topics that concern all areas of the Hessian state administration, such as advancing digitalization, the reduction of bureaucracy or personnel acquisition and management in times of a shortage of skilled workers.
