Eichenzell – A 66-year-old mountain biker from Eichenzell was slightly injured in a collision with a car in Eichenzell-Welkers. The East Hesse police headquarters in Fulda informed about the accident on Saturday (March 7th). The collision had already occurred on Thursday afternoon (February 26).

The accident occurred in Eichenzell on the Am Lange Acker street. The mountain biker was heading towards Eichenzell. He was “overlooked by a 78-year-old Mercedes driver from the same district who was traveling in the opposite direction and wanted to turn left onto the site of a gas station,” reported a police spokesman.
This resulted in a collision. According to police, the cyclist fell and sustained minor injuries. According to police estimates, there was significant damage to both vehicles amounting to 6,000 euros. However On March 6th, a 15-year-old Simson driver was injured in an accident in Neuhof.
