
The 36th Fulda Women's Week starts with a special campaign. Six companies from the region present strong women. You want to make a statement.
Fulda – The 36th Fulda Women's Week offers an exciting and colorful program from March 6th. Women can discover how they can improve their visibility and career opportunities. During Women's Week there is a joint campaign by six companies.
Women in leadership: Fulda companies show strength for Women's Week
Six companies from the Fulda region are setting an example with an extraordinary campaign: They want to promote the visibility of women in the world of work and create a corporate culture in which female expertise and leadership become the norm.
The EDAG Group, JUMO, the Fulda Clinic, Heurich, the RhönEnergie Group and Chance present in an exhibition life-size photos of twelve employees who take on responsibility and design in laboratories, control rooms, at operating tables and on construction sites.
The photos were taken in authentic work situations and were captured by Fulda photographer Walter Rammler, as the company announced in a press release.
Martin Heun, spokesman for the management of the RhönEnergie Group, emphasizes: “We know that visibility is not a given – and that that is a problem. Many job profiles are still automatically associated with men. We want to change that with our campaign.”

Alexandra Dantmann, Head of Global Human Resources at JUMO, adds: “Women are still less likely to choose technical, craft or management-oriented careers – not because there is a lack of competence, but because there is a lack of role models. We have to give women visibility and ensure the appropriate framework conditions.”
This is exactly where the six companies start. Dr. Thomas Menzel, spokesman for the board of the Fulda Clinic, explains: “We want to encourage women to choose jobs that are not associated with women at first glance – and show that these positions have long been filled by women, successfully and naturally.”

Alina Heurich, managing director of the beverage wholesaler Heurichhighlights a business argument: “Companies that promote and make women visible in all areas gain access to a larger talent pool and make better decisions through diverse teams.”
Rainer Schön, HR Manager at the EDAG Group, summarizes: “By promoting and making women visible, our companies become more attractive to female applicants. Visibility is not an end in itself – it is a location advantage.”
Exhibition for Women's Week
The exhibition will open on Monday (March 9th =) at 4:30 p.m. in the RhönEnergie rooms, Löherstraße 52 in Fulda. There will then be a public discussion in which representatives from the six companies will talk about how women can be made even more visible in the world of work. Kathrin Error, Head of Production at Random Fulda, emphasizes that the twelve women shown are no exceptions: “The twelve women shown are examples. Examples that female expertise, leadership and passion have long been a reality in Fulda – and that it is worth putting them in the spotlight.”
