In Hesse, an educator is said to have sexually abused several boys around the age of four. The police have now arrested the 34-year-old, as the police and public prosecutor report.

The man is now in custody, as the Fulda police and the Giessen public prosecutor announced on Friday (February 27). Accordingly, the 34-year-old is said to have sexually abused the children in six cases and to have taken pictures of them. “The accused, who has not yet been convicted and who exercised his right to remain silent during the demonstration, is now in a Hessian correctional facility,” say the police and public prosecutor’s office.
The investigation got rolling through research on relevant portals on the Darknet. For this reason, the 34-year-old from the Vogelsberg district was initially only investigated for possession of child pornography. During a search on Monday, several data carriers were confiscated.

During an initial inspection, officers came across numerous photos and videos. Until his arrest, the man worked as a teacher in a daycare center, where he is also said to have abused the children. The identities of the victims have not yet been conclusively clarified.
The investigation is still ongoing, it is said. “It cannot currently be ruled out that further attacks have occurred.”
