His character Carlos is murdered When Patrick Fernandez said goodbye to GZSZ, a colleague suddenly became very emotional
Last scene after almost four years!
One day after his role Carlos Lopez died in “Good Times, Bad Times” (Wednesday, June 10th), Patrick Fernandez is already back in the studio of “Point 12”. There the actor talks about his emotional farewell to the series, the special time at GZSZ – and about friendships that go far beyond working together. His farewell was particularly moving for a special fellow actress, as can be seen in the video.
“I had to lie on the floor for half a day of filming!”
It's a shock for GZSZ fans: Carlos Lopez is found shot to death. For Patrick Fernandez, however, these scenes were filmed several months ago. “Playing that was really awesome,” he says on “Point 12”. He particularly remembers the circumstances: “I had to lie on the ground for half a day of filming – and it was very cold.”

The actor still regards his departure with great gratitude. Above all, he will miss the daily interaction. “A role comes to an end, that's part of being an actor. But that daily coffee with colleagues is difficult,” admits the actor. Over the years, the team has become a little family for him.

“You are a colleague who has grown close to my heart!”
Two video messages from. show how close the ties on the GZSZ set actually are Lars Pape and Nina Ensmann. While Lars Pape wishes his colleague only the best for his future career and admits that he will miss him, things get particularly emotional for Nina Ensmann.
Even with Patrick Fernandez's last shot, the farewell moments were “very tearful,” says the actress, visibly moved. She tears again in front of the camera. “You are a colleague who has become very dear to me. And I am very grateful and happy that I can call you my friend”she tells her former series colleague.

Nina Ensmann surprises Patrick Fernandez with a video message and can't hold back her tears.

The words also visibly affect Patrick Fernandez. He also has a close personal friendship with Nina Ensmann. Patrick Fernandez will not disappear completely from the lives of his former GZSZ colleagues. And even though Carlos Lopez is now part of the series, the friendships that were formed during his time will last forever.
