Vogelsberg farmer is looking for love on “Farmer Seeks Woman”
The Vogelsberger is one of the 18 singles that presenter Inka Bause will introduce at the start of the new round of the documentary soap. The introduction of the farmers who have the courage to take their happiness into their own hands and find true love in front of a large TV audience is followed by applications from women and men who would like to get to know the singles.
RTL is planning to broadcast the 22nd season with many episodes for autumn 2026. Farmer Björn is also hoping for fresh feelings on his farm. In Romrod in the Vogelsberg district, he is the fourth generation to run his farm. There he mainly looks after his 65 cattle in a beef cattle farm.
In addition to the cattle, his farm in Ober-Breidenbach, which covers a total of 38 hectares of arable land and grassland, also includes four fattening pigs, a dog, a cat, 35 chickens and a rooster. “The farm means a lot to me. I took it over from my parents and grandparents,” says the East Hesse man. “For this reason, I am carrying on my parents’ legacy.”

Björn begins his days early and devotes himself to stable and field work as well as organizing the farm. He values the freedom and versatility of his job and enjoys his independent life. In his free time he is involved in the fire department and enjoys doing manual work as a hobby.
Björn has been single for 14 years, since 2012, and wants to be able to share his life with someone again. He is looking forward to a partner with whom he can experience his everyday life, but also beautiful moments such as cooking and eating as a couple. “I want a down-to-earth woman with a heart who will fill my house with life again,” says the Romroder.
This is how getting to know the farmers works
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Melina, a farmer who is looking for a partner, is also coming from Hesse in the new “Farmer Looking for a Woman” season. The horse trainer lives on her parents' farm and is training to become an office management clerk. In the family business she primarily looks after the horses.
The topic of animal protection means a lot to her. “I am proud that we have rescued many animals from animal shelters and can offer them a new home and a perspective,” she says. Melina is passionate about horse riding and would like to share this hobby with a partner. She also dances Afro and hip-hop dance.

The 1.64 meter tall Hessian has been single for a year and has clear ideas about her future: “Even though I'm young, I still know that I want a stable relationship. I want a person with whom I can build my future.” She is looking for a sporty, humorous and adventurous man.
“I've had enough of being single. I just wish I could settle down,” says the young farmer. The “Bauer sucht Frau” presentation program, including the Hessian Melina and the Hessian Björn, will be shown on RTL on Whit Monday (May 25th) from 7:05 p.m. The program will be available on RTL+ from midnight on May 25th.
