After her dramatic murder, Zoe Lopez is now buried at GZSZ – and Carlos' world collapses. He has to say goodbye to his wife all alone. We were there during the emotional filming in the cemetery and take an exclusive look behind the scenes of this special GZSZ moment in the video.
GZSZ filming with goosebumps moments
It was clear to everyone involved as soon as they entered the cemetery: this day of filming would be different than usual. The atmosphere on set was exceptionally calm and respectful. “You can immediately feel that the whole team is even more cautious and much calmer.”told Lars Pape on set.
For Carlos, the funeral means the final farewell to Zoe. And although she hasn't made many friends in the GZSZ world, there is someone who doesn't want to leave Carlos alone in this difficult moment: Michi. Surprisingly, he supports his friend and accompanies him on this final journey. A scene that is likely to provide particularly moving moments.
Pure sunshine while filming GZSZ
The day of filming was a challenge not only emotionally, but also atmospherically. Instead of gray skies and rain, the weather was at its best. That's exactly what made the scenes even more intense. “In drama school they always say: You have to use what’s there.”explained Patrick Fernandez. The sun helped to make Carlos' pain even more tangible, because he would have actually liked to spend time with Zoe on such a beautiful day.
