
Unknown perpetrators broke into a parked BMW in Fulda during the day. They then withdrew money using an EC card stolen from the car. The police are looking for clues.
Fulda – On Tuesday (May 5th), unknown perpetrators broke into the interior of a 1 Series BMW parked on Magdeburger Strasse in Fulda in a previously unexplained manner, as the East Hesse Police Headquarters reported in a press release. They stole a wallet, an auxiliary cable and perfume from the vehicle.
Theft from car – money withdrawn with EC card
Police say the incident occurred between 7:40 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday. The previously unknown perpetrators then used the debit card stolen from the car to buy cigarettes. In this context, the police strongly advise not to leave valuables in vehicles.
“Always make sure that your vehicle is locked! Lock the windows – even if you are away for a short time!” says police spokesman Marc Leipold. The officers are now asking for information about the theft from the car to the East Hesse police headquarters on (0661) 1050.

The day before, previously unknown perpetrators broke into a driving school in Hünfeld. The thieves stole cash. The police are also asking for information about this crime.
