What role does Jo Gerner play…Conclusion at GZSZ! Yvonne and Michi go their separate ways

There is no chance for Yvonne and Michi anymore. What role does Jo Gerner play?

“Relationship status, it’s complicated!”
That's exactly why Yvonne and Michi are now at the end of their relationship on GZSZ. “The main point right now is that Michi doesn’t trust Yvonne,” says actor Lars Pape about the moment that changes everything. For him it is less a question of love than of a lack of commitment. Gisa Zach sees the core of the conflict in a connection that never completely disappears: The reason for the separation is Yvonne's love for Gerner – which was always there and stands between them. While Michi makes a clear cut and Yvonne leaves the Kiezkauf, the main thing that remains is injury. And yet there is hope – that closeness can eventually become friendship again. The two actors are already giving a little insight into whether this will be successful and whether Yvonne will find Jo Gerner again in our interview.
“Michi is so hurt that he wants to separate all shared areas of life!”
Why are Yvonne and Michi currently separating?
Lars Pape: “Relationship status, it's complicated. Michi is exactly in this phase with Yvonne. The main point is that he no longer trusts her. He still trusts her as a person, but no longer in the relationship.”
Gisa Zach: “Michi breaks up with Yvonne because he no longer believes that she has really left Gerner behind.”
What particularly hurts Michi?
Lars Pape: “The fact that Yvonne didn't go to the office to sign the divorce papers hit him hard. For him it's more than a formality – it's an emotional confession. He sees an attitude and possibly feelings for Gerner behind it. He can't and doesn't want to live with that.”
Gisa Zach: “Yvonne and Michi love each other, even if they are no longer a classic couple. The reason for the separation is Yvonne's connection to Gerner, which has never completely disappeared and stands between them.”
How does Michi emotionally deal with the situation?
Lars Pape: “He continues to love Yvonne, but knows that it can't go on like this. The situation touches on an old sore spot that reminds him of his failed relationship with Maren. Even then, he had the feeling that he didn't really belong. Now he's experiencing something similar: Yvonne doesn't clearly commit to him, which makes him very hurt and sad. In addition to emotional hurt, a certain activism also plays a role. Ultimately, however, it is the sadness about the lack of commitment that leads him to the separation. He keeps it One step at a time, even if it hurts.”
Do Yvonne and Michi basically fit together?
Gisa Zach: “Lars and I both think that Yvonne and Michi fit together very well and are a great couple. Maybe because we really enjoy filming together. (laughs) We do that less after the separation, and that's a shame.”
What happens after the final line?
Lars Pape: “I can understand Michi's decision. If you are not 100% happy, a clear break is often healthier than staying in a relationship and constantly coming back to the same point of doubt.”
Gisa Zach: “Michi is so hurt that he wants to separate all shared areas of life. Yvonne is therefore withdrawing from the neighborhood purchase. At first, a friendship no longer seems possible, even if she regrets it very much. Whether this will move her even more towards Gerner remains to be seen.”
How do the GZSZ stars feel about warmed-up love?
Is there still a future for the two of them?
Lars Pape: “A relationship can also emerge again. I believe that the two of them could basically find a way to each other again.”
Gisa Zach: “I’m sure they’ll be friends again at some point.”
Was it a mistake to try again?
Gisa Zach: “They both wanted it, tried it out and were happy with it. You don't know beforehand that it won't last forever – it wasn't a mistake.”
Reheated love – can that work?
Lars Pape: “A relationship can definitely be revived again. I think that's basically possible.”
Gisa Zach: “It can work. I myself have been living in such a 'warmed up' love for years.”

Michael “Michi” (Lars Pape, M.) and Gerner (Wolfgang Bahro) are caught off guard that Yvonne (Gisa Zach) did not divorce Gerner for emotional reasons.

What can viewers look forward to?
Lars Pape: “I feel sorry for Michi. I wish him that he will be happy again and find true love again at some point.”
Gisa Zach: “It will be exciting, surprising and criminal – Yvonne is also suspected. And Gerner is there for her. So everything is there for the audience to stay tuned!”
