Fulda – On Monday evening (April 20th) an incident occurred on Mainstrasse in Fulda at around 5:30 p.m., which the Fulda public prosecutor's office and the East Hesse police headquarters classified as dangerous bodily harm, threats and dangerous interference with road traffic.
According to the current findings from the police and public prosecutor's office, a 40-year-old woman of Turkish origin was on the way home when her 35-year-old ex-husband, also a Turkish citizen, hit her with his car. This caused the woman to fall to the ground.

“While the woman was lying on the ground, the man hit her several times and threatened her,” report the public prosecutor and police. Several passers-by became aware of what was happening and alerted the police. The injured woman was taken to the Fulda Clinic with various broken bones and abrasions.
“There is currently no danger to life,” it says. The perpetrator initially fled the scene in his vehicle, parked it nearby and has since been untraceable, according to the police and public prosecutor. The exact circumstances of the incident are still unclear and are the subject of ongoing investigations.
Investigators are asking the public for assistance and information about the man's whereabouts. Information can be reported by calling (0661) 1050 or any other police station. The Fulda public prosecutor's office and the East Hesse police headquarters are investigating the 35-year-old.
