
Serious accident on Sunday night: A 47-year-old crashed his small car into a tree. The man was seriously injured.
Steinau/Niederzell – As the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse reports, the man was traveling on the L3329 between Schlüchtern-Niederzell and Steinau an der Straße around 3:45 a.m. early Sunday morning when he veered off the road to the left.

He then collided with a tree. As a result, the 47-year-old's small car – a white Skoda Fabia – overturned and ended up on its roof. First responders discovered the vehicle off the road and called the police and emergency services.
The driver, who was alone in the car, was seriously injured in the accident and taken to hospital. The Hanau public prosecutor's office has commissioned an expert to reconstruct the exact course of the accident. The L3329 was closed during the rescue and clean-up work.
