The “Relief Now!” alliance wants to hold an information and discussion event on Friday, April 24th and has invited an expert. The geographer Wulf Hahn, co-owner of a specialist agency for traffic and environmental management, will give a presentation starting at 7 p.m. in the Zeppe clubhouse, Am Wörth 8 in Angersbach, comparing the situation in Wartenberg with other municipalities and classifying statements and opinions. The aim of the event is a list of demands to reduce the burden on residents of the B254.
In October 2025, a report from the Hessenschau also had the discussion about the planned Lauterbach – Wartenberg bypass was reignited. Accordingly, the state of Hesse is said to lack money for 28 road construction projects – including the B254.
