The Sterbfritz fitness studio has new operators. But there are disputes with the former Get Fit operator. The police were on site on Saturday.
Sinntal – There was a police operation last Saturday (March 28th) in the Sterbfritz fitness studio S-Fitness at Bahnhofstrasse 15. The background is apparently disputes between the old and the new operator. The old operator, Eugen Leibman, wanted to take fitness equipment out of the studio and took down mirrors like one Kinzigtal News-Reader who witnessed the police operation reported to our newspaper.
Fitness studio in Sterbfritz has new operators
The Schlüchtern police confirmed this when asked. The old operator was evicted from the house and the locks were changed, according to the police. Civil law proceedings are underway to clarify whether the devices were not declared by the old operator during the insolvency proceedings, even though they belong to the insolvency estate.
Previously, the studio belonged to Eugen Leibman's Get Fit Preiswerttraining GmbH, based in Waechtersbach. The fitness chain filed for bankruptcy at the Hanau district court at the beginning of February. According to the operator, the background was demands for reimbursement of government Corona aid, which had led to liquidity problems and insolvency.
The Sterbfritzer Studio has now been taken over by new operators: Tobias and Saskia Garrison, who themselves come from Sterbfritz. The location remains the same. The Garrisons want to continue to run it “not as an unsupervised discount studio,” “but as a fitness studio with service,” as it says on the homepage.
Get Fit becomes S-Fitness in Sterbfritz
Athletes who have already used the studio and want to continue to do so must conclude a new contract with S-Fitness. Tobias Garrison confirmed in an interview with our newspaper that training can continue in the studio. “In April we will renovate and modernize the rooms while operations continue,” he said. That's why there is currently a cheaper tariff. An opening party is scheduled to take place in May. The Garrisons also want to revive the bistro as a meeting place.
Training can also be carried out over Easter: “We open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.,” says Garrison. From May onwards, his wife Saskia will be there regularly as a contact person. A new course program is planned with fitness and strength courses, back and mobility programs as well as functional and endurance courses. Personal one-to-one support is available upon request.
