In the week before and after Easter, RhönEnergie trainees take over the complete operational management of the Ziehers sports pool. Supervision, service and technology – all areas are managed by them.

Fulda – For RhönEnergie, training means more than just learning how to do things – it means real responsibility. That's why on Saturday (March 28th) trainees will take over command of the Ziehers sports pool in Fulda in their usual shifts, as RhönEnergie reports. “This is a project that demands courage, specialist knowledge and team spirit in equal measure,” says Martin Heun, spokesman for the management of the RhönEnergie Group.

Preparations for this have been going on for several weeks. Michael Lipus, authorized representative of RhönEnergie's Bäder Betriebs GmbH, reports: “The young skilled workers in training have, among other things, drawn up their rosters independently – the first visible sign of their responsibility.” Thanks to their previous training and targeted preparation, they are ideally prepared for the tasks ahead.

Lipus points out: “In order to ensure safe swimming pool operations in every situation, an experienced specialist employee is assigned to every shift in the background.” These colleagues are there to help the trainees with questions, support and in the event of emergencies – without taking away the special character of the project.

The so-called training pool is an extraordinary experience for everyone involved. The trainees apply their knowledge, make independent decisions and experience what it means to be responsible for smooth operations. From RhönEnergie's perspective, organizational and leadership skills are specifically promoted – and self-confidence grows.

RhönEnergie and the entire team at the Ziehers sports pool are behind the project. The bathers also play an important role – their support and understanding play a key role in making the project a success.

RhönEnergie boss Martin Heun is convinced: “We give our trainees the chance to grow beyond themselves.” Not only the trainees, but also the company RhönEnergie benefits from the project, says authorized representative Michael Lipus: “We hope for three things: fresh perspectives and an unobstructed look at established processes, a practical test of the quality of our training and a stronger bond between the trainees and the company.” The Ziehers sports pool is open from March 28th to April 12th during the usual opening hours.

The district supports the future of the Ziehers sports pool in other ways: at the beginning of the year it announced that to provide one million euros for municipal indoor swimming poolsincluding the bathroom in Ziehers.
