Fulda – The Christmas market will take place this year from Friday, November 20th to Wednesday, December 23rd. As the city of Fulda reports, the Christmas market is one of the largest and most beautiful in Hesse and is considered an important economic factor for the entire region.
City of Fulda is looking for stand operators for the 2026 Christmas market
Dedicated stand operators, creative actors and regional producers, whose offerings shape the special atmosphere in the city center, play a decisive role in the success. According to the city, applications for stand space are open until Tuesday, March 31st. on-line possible.
According to the city, new ideas and offers are particularly in demand, that complement the existing program and provide additional diversity. A proven concept is the regional market, which offers local craft businesses and manufacturers their own platform. The huts provided by the city can be used flexibly and on a weekly basis by different providers, creating a varied market experience.
The Christmas market also plays a central role economically: stand operators benefit from the high number of visitors, while at the same time the guests generate additional sales in the catering, hotel and retail sectors.
“The Fulda Christmas market thrives on the commitment and ideas of its participants. Goods and trading stands, but also new culinary concepts, are particularly important to us with a view to a non-alcoholic and healthier offering are welcome,” emphasizes Dominik Höhl, Head of Tourism and Marketing.
