
The city of Fulda has drawn five clubs that are allowed to operate food and drink stands along the route during the big Hessentag pageant. The pageant will take place on Sunday, June 21st.

The following clubs were selected from the 37 applications:
- Oberrode sports community (Kurfürstenstrasse location)
- Haimbach sports club (location of the state library)
- Sickels sports community (Heinrichstrasse location)
- Johannesberg sports community (Lindenstrasse location)
- Bernhards village community (Rabanusstrasse location)
The selected clubs also receive a flat-rate support fee of 500 euros each. Dominik Höhl explains that this measure is a conscious signal to promote volunteer work and urban club work, which plays a key role in the implementation of the Hessentag. “We are always overwhelmed by the great willingness to actively shape the Hessentag,” emphasizes the Hessentag representative according to the statement and at the same time asks “for your understanding that we cannot do justice to all applications for participation.”
The preparation phase now begins for the selected clubs. “The aim is, with the active support of numerous members, not only to ensure the physical well-being of the guests, but also to create an atmospheric atmosphere along the pageant route,” says Vera Dudyka.
