Double joy with Mariia Maksina!
In the first regular show, Ross Antony and professional dancer Mariia Maksina won a fantastic 25 jury points. And at the same time, Ross gave his dance partner a “Let's Dance” premiere that she had been waiting for for so long.
On the third attempt: Finally a first place for “Let's Dance” professional Mariia Maksina
Professional dancer Mariia Maksina has already tried to teach a star how to dance twice: in 2023, the handball player Michael “Mimi” Kraus and in 2024, influencer Stefano Zarrella. Both times, however, Mariia had to say goodbye to the dance floor early on. She took eighth place with Mimi Kraus and 10th place with Stefano Zarrella.
While the dance professional has not yet been able to take first place in his “Let's Dance” career, she and Ross Antony managed to get straight into show one this year – a premiere that Mariia is visibly happy about in the live stream after the show. “I've never had 25 points and I've never been in first place,” she says, beaming with joy.

“The whip will be brought out even more” – Ross Antony has to dress warmly for “Let’s Dance”!
These are laurels that the dancing couple definitely doesn't want to rest on. Quite the opposite: In the RTL interview after the live show, Mariia Maksina gave Ross Antony an insight into what will await him in training in the coming week: “The whip will be brought out even more,” is the motto.
After all, Joachim Llambi had warned after Ross' top performance at the Charleston: “The problem Ross has now: He's already set the bar high for himself in the first show.” An assessment that Ross' dance partner can only agree with: “The plank is now up.” And this level must be maintained.
