And of course I have hobbies on the side and flying has become a very big part of them. I had a lot of fun and I always need challenges. This is the only way to stay fresh,” the 36-year-old explains to us in an interview.
Lisa Müller is drawn to politics
In recent years, Lisa and Thomas have increasingly gone their own ways. Maybe a reason why they grew apart? The rumors about a marital crisis began two years ago. In May 2024, Lisa deleted all photos of the couple together from her Instagram profile – a step that made many people sit up and take notice at the time. There were no joint appearances. At the beginning of 2025 she was missing from the premiere of Thomas' documentary. For many, it was an unmistakable sign that the Müllers' house blessing was going badly wrong.
While the footballer left FC Bayern in the summer of 2025 and moved to the Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada, Lisa stayed in Bavaria. She is currently pursuing her political ambitions there and did an internship in the Bavarian state parliament. “I think my family will sadly agree that one or two family evenings have already been canceled because I was true to my political convictions. And yes, I'm glad that I can now learn there,” Lisa now reveals to us. Instead of hiding out, she faces the press – even on the evening when the end of the marriage becomes public. Calm and without the war of the roses. For them, the separation doesn't seem to be an end, but rather a new beginning.
