But now photos of the magazine covers are making the rounds on Reddit and social media. According to Bild and Berliner Kurier they show Aurélie and Ibo as winners of the GNTM season 2026. Anna, Daphne, Tony and Godfrey were also in the final alongside them.

GNTM winner 2026 leaked in advance – mega fail or targeted PR stunt?

For many viewers, the mega-blunder is more than annoying. Ultimately, the final depends on the fact that it remains unclear who will win the title until the last second. Instead of a big surprise, there is probably the biggest spoiler of the season in advance.

However, some GNTM fans are rumoring that it could also be a sophisticated plan. Sending out the magazines before the final and not noticing such a faux pas sounds like a pretty amateurish faux pas and could also be a deliberate maneuver for the sake of attention.

ProSieben responded to a query from Bild with the following words: “There are many strategies from ProSieben and its partners to fuel speculation about the final. This is one of them. Feel free to be surprised by what happens on Thursday in the #GNTMFinale.”

A spokeswoman for Burda Media, publisher of “Harper's Bazaar,” initially declined to comment on the reports when asked. It remained unclear whether, and if so, how many issues of the magazine were delivered on Wednesday. It also remained unclear whether the two winners were actually accidentally shown on the cover – or whether, as ProSieben claims, it was a marketing strategy.
