A twelve-year-old suffered serious injuries in an e-scooter accident in Kinzigtal. The boy fell while driving with a 14-year-old passenger.
Birstein – A rescue helicopter flew a twelve-year-old e-scooter driver to a clinic with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon after he had an accident in Birstein. According to police, the accident occurred on Wednesday, May 27th, around 4 p.m. on Reichenbacher Straße in the direction of Brachttal.

According to the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse, the student was traveling with his 14-year-old passenger in a small electric vehicle when he fell for reasons that are still unclear. The twelve-year-old suffered serious injuries. A rescue helicopter was used.
According to police, the 14-year-old passenger was slightly injured and taken to a hospital in an ambulance where he received medical treatment.
The police in Schlüchtern are now asking witnesses who observed the accident or who have information about what happened to contact the officers on (06661) 96100.
