
The Schlitzerland local and traditional costume festival association is looking for a new “Miss Slitisa”. The election will take place in July.
Schlitz – As part of the city festival “Schlitz celebrates” the new representative of Schlitzerland will be elected on Saturday, July 11th. We are looking for women aged 18 and over who live in Schlitzerland and who enjoy getting to know people, actively shaping the cultural life of the region and representing Schlitzerland at events with charm and personality, the city says.
Bringing tradition and joy of life to the outside world: Schlitz is looking for a “Miss Slitisa”
During her term of office, the future “Miss Slitisa” will take on various representative tasks for the local history and traditional costume festival association. This includes appearances at regional events as well as the presentation of the club and the Schlitzerland Trachten Festival at various events.
A special highlight will be the big pageant to mark the 100th anniversary of the Schlitzerland Traditional Costume Festival on July 11, 2027, in which “Miss Slitisa” will play a central role.
“Being 'Miss Slitisa' means conveying local ties, tradition and joy of life to the outside world. At the same time, the office offers the opportunity to get to know many interesting people and experience unforgettable moments,” explains Pia Guntrum, deputy chairwoman of the local and traditional costume festival association.
