With these words, Bushido is now giving a new health update on Instagram. After his wife Anna-Maria Ferchichi recently cautiously gave the all-clear, the rapper now explains why the upcoming operation is more delicate than initially assumed.
Bushido explains the risks of tumor surgery
According to Bushido, the tumor is located directly on or even in the parotid gland. An important nerve runs right there. Therefore, the procedure must take place under general anesthesia. In his Instagram story, Bushido writes openly: “The nerve needs to be monitored all the time so that it doesn’t get damaged.”

The 47-year-old makes it clear how sensitive the operation actually is. Even if the tumor is benign, the concern remains great. According to Anna-Maria, the tumor must be removed because, in the worst case, it could change.
Bushido apparently first noticed the symptoms because of a swelling in front of his left ear. This was followed by an MRI appointment – and finally the diagnosis.
Anna-Maria Ferchichi initially breathed a sigh of relief
“Fortunately, what Anis has is benign,” Anna-Maria explained to her followers on Instagram shortly after the examination. However, the relief didn't last long. Because it quickly became clear that an operation was unavoidable.
The location of the tumor in particular makes the procedure complicated. The parotid gland is considered a sensitive area because important facial nerves run there. That's exactly why the doctors apparently don't want to take any risks.
