Luna Jordan played this role in “Hamburg Days”
Jordan, who died suddenly on May 13th at the age of just 25, was supposed to take on the role of photographer and artist Astrid Kirchherr (1938-2020) in “Hamburg Days” – the Hamburg woman who gave the early Beatles their iconic mushroom head haircut and whose influence on the band's style and appearance is still visible today. It would have been the most prominent role in Jordan's young career to date.
The six-part drama series from ZDF and BBC sheds light on the Beatles' apprenticeship years in Hamburg at the beginning of the 1960s. Filming has been taking place in Hamburg, Munich and Liverpool since the beginning of May. The template is the autobiography of Klaus Voormann – the Hamburg artist who discovered the band in the clubs on St. Pauli and who accompanied the series production as a consultant. Casper von Bülow embodies him in the series.
In 2025, Luna was seen in the RTL+ series “Euphorie,” which you can stream on RTL+.
