A chicken-flavored instant noodle dish is being recalled nationwide due to salmonella. Which packages are affected and what consumers should know now.
Kaufland, Famila and Combi sell the products
A company from Upper Franconia is recalling its chicken-flavored instant noodle dish because of salmonella. The pathogens were detected in the product during an investigation, the company SLCO, based in Neudrossenfeld (Kulmbach district), announced in a food warning. The product is sold nationwide at Kaufland, Famila and Combi. The packs with the best-before date of April 5, 2027 are affected.

Consumers should not eat the dish, the company warned. Salmonella can cause health problems such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea and fever. Infants, young children, older people and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk, it said.
Customers can therefore return the product to all affected sales outlets. The price will be refunded even without presenting the receipt.
