Schlüchtern – A football game in the B Süd district league ended with a 19-year-old suffering a concussion, the police said. The Schlüchtern police have started an investigation against a 34-year-old player from the visiting team. The incident occurred on Friday evening (May 8th) at the sports field on Hanauer Straße in Schlüchtern. Towards the end of the game, the 34-year-old is said to have made racist comments. He is then said to have hit the 19-year-old home team player in the head.

After the final whistle, the argument apparently continued. The older player is said to have pushed the younger one to the ground. According to current findings, the 19-year-old suffered a concussion and a fracture to his hand.
