House in Kinzigtal burns down completely – 80,000 euros worth of damage
A witness reported the fire around 8 a.m. This also helped a 48-year-old resident of the house to escape outside in time. The resident was slightly injured and received medical treatment on site as a precaution, according to the police statement.
The extinguishing work continued until late morning. The inside of the house was completely burned out, causing material damage of around 80,000 euros. The building is currently no longer habitable. While the work for the fire brigade is over, it is just beginning for the criminal investigation department. The officers now have to find out the cause of the fire, which is still largely unclear. Among other things, the investigators are investigating the suggestion that a candle could have started the fire.
Meanwhile, the fire department in Langenselbold was called to a somewhat mysterious fire. A moped parked in a roundabout was on fire.
