SHE seems to have finally found her favorite person!
Ex-Bachelor candidate Michèle de Roos (32) is taken again. After falling out of love with Niko Griesert and undergoing therapy for her fear of commitment, the Cologne native found her great happiness through a dating app. Now she speaks openly with RTL.de about her new love.
Michèle de Roos found her new love on the dating app
“I felt really comfortable and seen from the start,” explains the ex-Bachelor candidate. Because at the same time it was exactly this feeling that made the big difference! She immediately sensed: This date is different.

At first she didn't expect much. “I went into this date with a completely open mind because I didn’t really expect much from it,” she says. She and her new love have been spending almost every minute together since March – but Michele doesn't want to reveal his name yet.
Rather, she emphasizes: “When I saw him, he just had such a beautiful charisma that caught me straight away.” But the feeling was even stronger during the conversation. “There was someone who really wanted to understand who was behind this person Michèle and not just look at the superficial.”
She would never have thought that a dating app of all things would bring her this new happiness in love. But after the first meal, everything suddenly happened very quickly. “We met on Tuesdays, then on Fridays for the second time and from then on every day,” she says. The two never had to officially start their relationship. “It was actually so obvious from the beginning that now it’s just the way it is.”

They are also connected by their profession! Because he also works in the real estate sector. A nice coincidence for the trained real estate agent, because “I think that we can complement each other very well in the future.”. And the next step doesn’t seem to be ruled out either. The two don't live together yet, but Michèle reveals with a smile that “that would be a nice idea.”

Therapy helped Michèle de Roos fight her fear of commitment
Basically, she was happy as a single. But the longing for closeness never completely disappeared. The feeling was particularly high at Christmas or Valentine's Day. “That always made me very sad because that’s exactly the kind of love I actually want,” she admits.
For a long time she doubted herself, her ability to have relationships and the question of why she could give love but never fully allow it. “That's also why I went to therapy because I thought, what's wrong with me? Why can everyone love but not me?”, she gives a merciless insight into her thoughts.
This time kept her very busy. “I used to have such a big wall that I just couldn’t get over, to really go all in,” she gives an insight into her inner life. Now it sounds completely different. “You just have to have the right person standing in front of you,” says Michèle. Many of his insecurities are suddenly no longer so loud. “I feel safe and have the feeling that I can really let myself go with him.”
