Judge from Kassel has to answer for sexual harassment
The 56-year-old defendant is accused of having “physically touched the probation judge, who was working in his professional environment at the time, on several occasions in a sexually specific manner and thereby harassed her” between September 2023 and February 2025. According to the statement, there is said to have been “sexual assault committed by the majority” and sexual harassment in four cases, in three of these cases also involving “acts of coercion”.
In this context, the defendant is said to have used threats to force the trial judge to tolerate or refrain from certain actions. He also performed a sexual act on the trial judge and “forced her to tolerate the sexual act by threatening a serious evil,” according to the indictment. The main hearing begins on June 9, 2026.
